I was in a car accident almost exacty a year ago today. I was in the passengers seat and my friend was driving drunk, which i was unaware of at the time because he had drank when I wasn't around. He flew off the road at a turn and hit a tree. I had severe pain in my back and was rushed to the hospital as soon as the ambulance arrived on scene because I couldnt get up from where I was. I was diagnosed with a compression fracture in my back and had to wear a massive back brace for 3 months. I was unable to work for 5-6 months as well and was house and bed ridden for the first 4 months. I also was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder around 7 months after the accident. What can I expect in a insurance claim?
